Alcove Shelving

Traditional alcove cabinets & shelving with fluted paneling and library-style lighting

Making the most of a space

To help our customer make the most of their home's space we crafted two units of matching proportions.

After measuring the space we made sure that they were shallow enough not to obstruct their day to day lives but maintaining enough depth for the customer to use the way they desired.

Pairing library-style lighting with fluted paneling we were able to achieve a look of elegance matching the rest of our customer's home.

Creating long-lasting pieces

At A. Jones Joinery we understand that everyday use can take its toll on furniture which is why we always use the best quality material to ensure durability.

Using blum hinges and MRMDF to bring this project together our team have ensured durability along with timeless charm.

A huge thank you to our wonderful clients for entrusting us with their carpentry needs and giving us lovely feedback saying they ‘didn’t know how [they] lived without them!’

Fitted Bookcases

A bespoke home library with refined lighting and intricate trims

Reflecting your style

Standing at 3.2m tall these fitted bookcases came together to create a small home library that commanded attention, becoming the focal point of our customer's home.

Seamlessly fitting with the room's elegant design our team designed and built these bookcases to make the most of the space and functionality of our customers home and life.

Focusing on the details

Housing our customers generous collection of books and memorabilia was our goal but paying attention to the details is what made this project shine.

Using Farrow and Ball's 'Selvedge' paint exuded sophistication, especially when combined with intricate trims and traditional library lighting. Making this project fit seamlessly with the rest of our customers house.

Dry Fit Kitchens

A kitchen designed for living and hosting

Function meets style

Our customer enjoyed entertaining guests at his home and wanted to stay connected with them while he was preparing food.

Working closely with him, our team was able to design an open plan kitchen that meant he could stay on top of making delicious food while engaging with his guests.

Mixing traditional trims with a more contemporary colour scheme and design, this kitchen brings together the best of both creating a uniquely stylish result.

Media Unit

Making your space work for you

A design that fits you

With children and their own interests we worked closely with our customer to accommodate all aspects of their life.

We added bottom cupboards with shaker doors acting as an attractive storage for toys and then higher shelves to display their interests safely and proudly.

With detail and precision

With precise measurements we achieved a stylish solution that suited every member of the family without compromising the elegant finish that our customer was looking for.

It was the extra detail that took this project from plain to excellence.

The vertical paneling added a sense of height to the room and connected the individual parts of the project together.

The final touch of the gallery lighting created a sense of sophistication as well as honouring the parts of our customers lives that they wanted on display.

Under-Stair Storage

Optimizing your living space

At A. Jones Joinery we love to make the most of your home by turning unused spaces into functional and attractive storage solutions.

Adding the angled traditional paneling allowed our customer to use of all the available space, maximizing functionality.

We included a door on the far left which leads to a small bathroom, proof of how much you can get out of a space if you have the right design.

Seamless fits

The slanted paneling was designed and made with push to open doors, adding functionality while maintaining a seamless finish and allowing them to blend perfectly with the bathroom door.

We team up with skilled painters to ensure that our work fits seamlessly with the rest of your home.

With this project we installed and then brought a painter in to finish however we also spray paint many pieces before installing them to avoid unnecessary disruption in your home.

Creative solutions

Our customers needed more space to store their shoes and outerwear and wanted a neat solution which maximized storage space.

Working with them we decided on a design that not only solved their storage problem but also added a neat and elegant piece to their home.

By including the baskets along the side our customers could easily access specific items they were looking for and quickly put them away without having to rifle through everything else.

Making your home unique

Aesthetically, the wardrobes were designed to create a sense of height, lifting the whole space.

By having the handles lower than the center, it naturally lifts the eye toward the cornice, a beautiful addition lending solidity to the space and wardrobes.

Stacking the baskets along the side of the wardrobes, once again, lifts the eye while also saving our customers space.

All of these, plus the choice of paint has created a unique, stylish and functional solution for our customers storage issue and created an eye catching addition to their home.

Unique Projects

Fitting into your life, not the other way round.

Bespoke for a reason

Being bespoke means that the possibility for creativity is vast. That is why at A. Jones Joinery we take a special pride and gratification from projects that are truly unique.

From meeting specific requirements to setting up an obstacle course for Battersea Dogs Home and collaborating with artists for their installations we always find that extra spark of magic in bringing something unique into this world.

A brown dog with a playful expression, tongue hanging out, is being led on a leash by a person wearing a light blue "Muddy Dog" T-shirt. The dog is wearing a blue bandana with a logo from the event. Behind the dog, there are parts of a light blue obstacle course structure. The event seems to be an outdoor challenge for dogs and owners.A group of five people, all wearing light blue "Muddy Dog" T-shirts, stand in a grassy field, each holding or posing with their dogs. They are gathered around a large light blue obstacle structure, with the dogs either standing on or near it. The scene is set outdoors, surrounded by trees, with the group appearing to have completed or about to participate in the obstacle course event.
